Valarie Hulshof: This is one of the new features. I'm not sure if it's like a little chat area or what but I added it to see if it might be useful/fun. It might negate the need for the "General" board above, but maybe not. So I left that there too.

Carol: a shout box is immediate, so if 2 of us were here technically we could chat--Or for messages meant to be left for faster communication ,whereas the general board would be for information---right ?? . That is how I see it anyway...

Valarie Hulshof: the third box by clicking on the word "upload" and follow the directions. If you want to make a cartoon one, use the fourth box by clicking on the words "Edit Avatar" and follow those directions.

Valarie Hulshof: When you are done with one of those choices, be sure to go back to the second box and click the circle next to "Use only the uploaded/linked" OR "Use only your ProBoards Avatar". THen click the mint green "Save Avatar Changes" button.
